The Marriott Edinburgh Hotel Holyrood is conveniently located in the heart of Edinburgh's historic and beautiful old town. This 4-star hotel and spa in Edinburgh is just a 15-minute walk from Waverley Railway station and the bustle of the city's main thoroughfare, Princes Street.
We are currently recruiting for a HR Manager to join our Truly Talented team.
We seek someone who holds and enjoys maintaining high standards, with keen attention to detail.
Applicants must be willing and capable of taking accountability and ownership for the human resources administration, and general admin duties to be able to deliver the requirements of the owners and management company effectively.

Your role
Responsibilities of the HR Manager will include but are not limited to:
- General administration duties - generating reports, replying to correspondence, any reasonable duties requested by management;
- Maintenance of the HR records of the hotel on the company HR platform;
- Issuing documentation to new employees, and ensuring the hotel has all the necessary completed documentation back, to load them onto the HR/payroll platform.
The ideal person for this role will be enthusiastic about change, focused on details and trusting.

- A structured approach to business planning and management;
- Knowledge of IT systems;
- Precise analytical skills;
- Excellent communication skills, the ability to communicate verbally and in writing both concisely and logically;
- To be an enthusiastic team player with a flexible approach and have experience in empowering a team to successfully meet expectations;
- Results focused with an overwhelming desire to succeed;
- Previous experience in hotels is preferred;
