Breakfast Chef (Commis) – Full Time | £26,007 per annum (incl. bonus)

Location: Cambridge

Hours: 37.5 hours per week (5 days, predominantly mornings – rota basis)

Contract: Permanent

Are you an early riser with a passion for great food? We're looking for a dedicated Breakfast Chef (Commis) to join our clients talented Catering Team and help deliver high-quality meals. About the Role

As Breakfast Chef, you'll support the Head Chef and Executive Head Chef in preparing and presenting meals to the highest standards—primarily breakfast and lunch services. This role is ideal for someone beginning their culinary journey or for an experienced chef seeking a more fixed work pattern.

What We’re Looking For

We welcome applicants who are either:

• Working towards, or willing to undertake, an NVQ Level 1, 2, or 3 in Food Preparation & Cooking

And ideally, you will have:

• A Basic Food Hygiene Certificate
• A current Allergen Awareness Certificate
• Solid culinary skills and a genuine interest in food preparation

You’ll also be:

• Honest, reliable, and hardworking
• Willing to learn and open to training
• A strong team player who can follow instructions
• Flexible and positive in your approach to work
