Catering Assistant

We are seeking a Catering Assistant to join a busy and friendly team on a full time, permanent basis. This is a fast paced and varied role where you'll be involved in food preparation, serving and maintaining high standards of hygiene during the breakfast, lunch or dinner services.

• Hours: 40 hours per week, 5 days out of 7 Monday to Sunday to include 1 day at the weekend. Predominantly 12PM - 8:30PM shifts

• Salary: 26,224

As the Catering Assistant, you will be responsible for:

• Ensuring salad counters and servery area are clean and ready for each service
• Ensure that the crockery, cutlery and glasses are clean and presented correctly.
• Assist with any food preparation as required.
• Provide an efficient, caring and friendly service to all customers.
• Work in all areas to include front of house, plate and pot wash on a rota basis and any other areas of hospitality around the site.
• Cleaning of all appropriate catering areas.

The successful Catering Assistant have the following related skills / experience:

• Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential.
• High standards of personal hygiene.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work unsupervised, using own initiative and calmly under pressure.
