Finance isn’t just about counting the money. They business partner our teams to facilitate success by analysing financial performance and planning for the future. Our Management Accountant will prepare, analyse and report on financial information to help the business make well-informed decisions.

What kind of things will I be doing?

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual management accounts, including variance analysis.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
• Analyse financial performance and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
• Monitor and report on departmental and project spending.
• Support cost accounting and conduct margin analysis.
• Provide financial input into business cases and investment decisions.
• Balance sheet reconciliation and month end process.
• Cash-flow forecast and liquidity management.
• Good knowledge of Account Receivable and Payable and provide assistance in resolving accounting issues.
• Management of overheads and PO process.
• Support the weekly payment run.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies.
• Assist in audit preparation and liaise with auditors when needed.
• Provide cover for other finance members when they are absent.

What experience will I have?

• Professional certification (CIMA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent) preferred
• Proven experience in management accounting or financial analysis
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations
• Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with accounting software
• Strong analytical, communication, and organisational skills
• Attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines
