This is a temporary role is focused on driving Christmas group bookings and will be available for the months leading up to Christmas, with an August start date, this will involve proactive outreach and relationship building with Blue Light Card holders and large businesses.
It will be paid on a commission basis, with key sales targets unlocking the full earning potential of this role.
You will be responsible for identifying leads, securing bookings, and following up with clients to ensure strong conversion rates. The role requires a confident communicator with a sales mindset and strong organisational skills, who can work independently and understands the nuances of restaurant capacity and event planning.
This will be based at our London Head Office, it is expected that a successful candidate should be able to commute to this location, with days of work from Monday to Friday,
Sales Outreach and Booking Management:
- Proactively reach out to Blue Light organisations and large businesses to promote Christmas booking opportunities across the Bill’s estate.
- Confidently sell the offering, handle objections, and close sales to maximise occupancy and revenue.
- Manage inbound leads efficiently, ensuring timely responses and high-quality communication.
- Track sales pipeline and follow up regularly with potential clients to ensure conversion.
Client Communication and Relationship Building:
- Establish positive, professional relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Provide clear, well-written communication to confirm booking details and follow up as needed.
- Offer tailored solutions for different group sizes, requirements, and venue availability.
Capacity Management and Coordination:
- Understand the operational capacity of individual Bill’s locations and work with the Reservations and Revenue team to avoid overbooking.
- Coordinate with site teams to confirm availability and ensure seamless booking transitions.
Reporting and Administration:
- Maintain accurate records of sales activity, bookings, and client communications using internal systems.
- Liaise with the reservations and operations teams to ensure all booking details are recorded correctly.
Key Qualities and Experience
- Sales-Focused: Confident in outbound sales, closing deals, and following up to secure business.
- Strong Communication: Excellent written and spoken English, able to communicate effectively and professionally with clients and colleagues.
- Organised and Proactive: Able to manage multiple leads and follow-ups in a structured way.
- Industry Awareness: Understanding of restaurant operations and capacity planning preferred.
- Team Player: Comfortable working collaboratively with internal teams while independently managing your own workload.
- Experience: Previous experience in sales, reservations, or hospitality/restaurant industry preferred.
