From the team behind Crispin and Bistro Freddie, Canal is our newest venture, a vibrant restaurant and bar next to the water, celebrating seasonal food, great music, and warm, confident hospitality. Just opened, Canal is already becoming a much-loved local hub and we’re building a team who will shape its future.

We’re now looking for a Host to elevate our front-door experience and be the welcoming face of the restaurant. This is a key role for someone with warmth, confidence, and natural presence, someone who genuinely enjoys people and takes pride in creating a calm, connected atmosphere from the moment guests arrive.

What you’ll bring:

• Previous experience as a Host in a busy, high-quality restaurant
• A friendly, polished, and professional presence, with the ability to lead by example
• Confidence managing bookings, guest flow, and last-minute changes with grace
• A calm, solution-focused approach and excellent communication skills
• A passion for hospitality and a genuine desire to make every guest feel seen and valued
• Organisational flair and the ability to support the FOH team in delivering seamless service
