Our Opportunity

The Finance Assistant is responsible for assisting the operational and Finance team to establish and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the accuracy of financial data. Key Responsibilities:

·       Daily review of Night Audit folder and corrections/investigation of any discrepancies

·       Daily completion of Credit Card reconciliation and posting/investigating any issues when posting to opera

·       Produce the daily revenue and payments reconciliation and upload to Netsuite

·       Reconcile cash and credit cards and challenge any discrepancies with HOD’s

·       Maintain the EBITDA tracker for the GM’s on revenue & costs

·       Monitor and challenge all outstanding debt on sales ledger and PM accounts to ensure no loss to business

·       Import sales daily into EPS in order to monitor payroll productivity performance.

·       Update the Daily food and beverage flash with actual sales to monitor gross profit performance

·       Export all approved invoices from Procure Wizard and import to Netsuite qualifying coding.

·       Copy all invoices and save to Netsuite with the exception of food.

·       Upload weekly sales forecasts into EPS from the EBITDA Tracker

·       Chase all debtors within the agreed payment timeframe target zero aged +90days

·       Ensure any new requests for credit are checked via Dun & Bradstreet

·       Take part in weekly debtor calls to monitor debtors & PM accounts.

·       Support the Credit Control function in achieving optimum debtor days for the hotels.

·       Assist the GM and HOD’s with any financial analysis as and when requested.

·       Provide accrual analysis from Procure Wizard and deliver to Hotels Cost Accountant

Skills and Qualifications:

·       Proven experience in an Accounts Assistant role, gained within hospitality

·       Exceptional attention to detail is essential, as well as strong numerical skills

·       Computer literate, including ability to use MS Office, Teams and working knowledge of Excel

·       Organised, self-motivated, with ability to use own initiative and work to tight deadlines

·       Able to work independently, as well as a strong team player.

·       Experience of Procure Wizard or other Purchase-to-pay/ Purchase order system.

·       Experience of Netsuite or other similar accounting package.
