Hotel Manager

Thistle Marble Arch

Contract: Full Time
Payment: Salaried
Salary: Competitive + excellent benefits

Located just off Oxford Street and moments from Hyde Park, our flagship Marble Arch property is one of Clermont Hotel Groups most commercially significant hotels, a large-scale, multi-outlet operation with 692 bedrooms, 13 meeting spaces, and unique dining concepts. We're now looking for a strategic, people-focused Hotel Manager to lead this complex operation and contribute directly to our continued growth and profitability.

What you’ll be doing

This isn’t your typical Hotel Manager role.
We’re looking for a dynamic and commercially astute leader, currently operating as a Hotel Manager or as a General Manager within a smaller-scale, full-service property, who thrives in a complex, high-volume hotel environment where operational demands and strategic thinking go hand in hand.

As Hotel Manager, you’ll be at the forefront of the operation, responsible for the full day-to-day running of the hotel, from guest experience to financial performance, while also playing a critical role in shaping the property's future direction.

You’ll report directly to the General Manager and work closely with a highly capable and experienced team of Heads of Department. Your role is to bring it all together, ensuring every area of the hotel runs smoothly, profitably, and in line with Clermont Hotel Group’s values and purpose.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a large, diverse team across multiple departments (including F&B, Front of House, M&E and Maintenance)
  • Deliver outstanding guest experiences while continuously improving operational efficiency
  • Maximise revenue and profitability across all income streams, not just rooms
  • Build strong, collaborative relationships with Heads of Department and empower them to drive performance and deliver extraordinary service
  • Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety, audit requirements, and all regulatory standards, contributing to the hotel's balance scorecard performance
  • Collaborate with central teams (HR, Sales, Revenue, Marketing) to drive and support strategic business goals

What you’ll bring

  • Proven leadership experience in a high-volume, full-service hotel or complex multi-revenue operation
  • A strong grasp of commercial strategy, budgeting, and financial management
  • The ability to lead, influence, and develop well-established, experienced Heads of Departments
  • A guest and people-first mindset with a passion for creating memorable experiences
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the confidence to make high-impact decisions quickly
  • A forward-thinking approach and enthusiasm for continual improvement and innovation
