Solis takes influence from both sides of The Atlantic – Spain, Portugal, Uruguay and Argentina. 

About The Role:

As Senior Sous Chef at Solis, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of consistent, high quality dishes; You will manage the overall kitchen operation, including prep schedules, stock control, budgeting and maintenance, as well as the day to day management of the kitchen team.

The successful candidate will be an experienced, kitchen all-rounder who is personable, and passionate about all thing’s food and drink. As Senior Sous Chef working closely with our kitchen teams you will:

• Take the lead on steering a sizeable kitchen team of Approx.15 in a high quality high volume environment
• Ensure the delivery of consistent, high quality and innovative dishes that meet the brand spec
• Play a key role in menu development
• Manage the overall kitchen operation, incl. prep schedules, stock control, budgeting and maintenance
• Have the opportunity to lead, train and motivate your kitchen team
• Take a lead role in ensuring our teams comply with health, safety and compliance procedures

We'd love to hear from you if you:

• Bring 3+ years of experience as a Senior Sous Chef in a similar environment
• Bring high attention to detail and can work to brand specs
• Have a track record in managing, training and leading a Kitchen brigade
• Bring strong working knowledge of health and safety, compliance and procedures
• Have experience in managing staff costs, scheduling and reviewing staff rotas
• Bring experience in reporting on kitchen finances and purchasing
• Are a natural leader who is keen to progress your career with a bold restaurant group!
