As a Senior Registered Nurse, you’ll play a key leadership role within our specialist dementia care unit, guiding your team with clinical expertise, empathy, and a commitment to excellence. You will hold a valid NMC registration and will take ownership to keep up to date with the latest dementia care practices and clinical standards.

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Lead on clinical excellence within the dementia care unit, providing hands-on nursing care and emotional support to residents and families
- Ensure effective rota management and lead audits to maintain high standards of care
- Manage medications in line with national guidelines and regulatory standards
- Supervise, coach, and mentor care staff, with a strong focus on dementia awareness and person-centred approaches
- Deliver training and share best practice with your team, especially in managing complex behaviours and creating enabling environments
- Take charge of the care home out of hours, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays, acting as the senior decision-maker on site
