What We Offer

Key Responsibilities

Support the Leading of the Clinical Team: Ensure residents' medical, physical, and emotional needs are met by supporting the leadership of the clinical team with expertise and compassion alongside the Clinical Lead and Nurse Team.

Ensure Compliance: Adhere to our clinical governance framework at all times to maintain the highest standards of care within audit processes and regulatory requirements.

Mentor and Motivate: Inspire and guide your colleagues, champion residents’ safety and dignity, and support continual staff development to respond to evolving needs and maintain an effective skill mix and roster.

Outstanding Leadership: Provide exceptional leadership for all colleagues, fostering a supportive and collaborative working environment.

Resident Support: As a named Unit Lead, ensure personalised and responsive care is delivered to residents with a range of complex needs and dependency levels.

Strive for Clinical Excellence: Work closely with the clinical team to maintain and improve care standards, ensuring clinical excellence throughout the home.

What We Are Looking For

  • QCF Level 4 in Health & Social Care (or Level 3 and willing to work towards Level 4)
  • Registration with Social Care Wales
  • Experience working with older people, ideally within a care home setting
  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience
  • A positive, compassionate approach with strong team leadership and communication skills
  • Willingness to support colleagues, champion care standards, and contribute to on-call duties on a rota basis
