Trinity House Care Home is a beautifully decorated, modern care home offering the highest standards of Residential, Nursing, Respite and Dementia Care for up to 55 residents.
We are looking for a creative, organised and enthusiastic Activities Lead to bring joy, engagement and variety to our residents’ daily lives. This is a rewarding role where your energy and ideas will help residents stay connected, stimulated, and truly at home.
What We Offer
- £13.52 per hour
- Full-time contract, 40 hours per week
- Flexibility to work weekends and evenings required

- 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full-time contract)
What You Will Do
As Activities Lead, you will take the lead in planning, coordinating and delivering a wide range of activities that support residents’ emotional, social, and physical wellbeing. You will design both group and one-to-one programmes based on residents’ individual interests, preferences, and care needs. Working closely with the Home Manager and wider team, you will help create an inclusive, fun and stimulating environment where residents feel empowered and engaged.
You will promote positive social interaction, encourage participation in meaningful pastimes, and ensure residents have opportunities to continue hobbies or explore new ones. You will also keep accurate records of each activity, ensuring we meet residents’ needs and preferences consistently.

- Proven experience in planning and leading varied activities and events
- A confident, creative, and approachable personality
- A genuine interest in working with older adults and enhancing their wellbeing
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
