Trinity House Care Home is a modern, purpose-built care home, thoughtfully designed and equipped to the highest standards. Located in a peaceful area, it offers exceptional Residential, Nursing, Respite, and Dementia care for up to 55 residents.

We are looking for a caring and skilled Hairdresser to join our dedicated team. This is more than just a salon role – it is an opportunity to help our residents feel pampered, uplifted and truly themselves through professional, friendly hair care.

What We Offer

• £12.21 per hour
• Contracted to 24 hours per week, over 3 days
• Pension, Paid PVG
• Uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full-time contract)

What You Will Do
As Hairdresser, you will provide a warm, welcoming and professional service to our residents, offering a range of hair treatments including washing, cutting, and blow-drying. You will help residents feel refreshed, confident and valued by taking the time to understand their preferences and ensuring they enjoy every appointment.

You will also maintain a clean, safe and comfortable salon area, keeping equipment in good condition and ensuring your work aligns with the care home's policies. You will follow relevant Health & Safety protocols, use PPE as needed, and attend any necessary training sessions. Most importantly, you will bring a caring, patient approach to your work, recognising that your service offers more than just hair care — it offers comfort, dignity and joy.

What We Are Looking For

• Proven experience as a Hairdresser
• Compassionate, respectful and patient approach
• Strong understanding of Health & Safety and infection control in a salon environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Confidence working independently and engaging with older adults
• Awareness of confidentiality and safeguarding
• Knowledge of safe handling and use of salon chemicals and products
