Diplomatic Sales Manager

Contract: Permanent
Salary: $90/95,000 plus excellent benefits

We are seeking an ambitious candidate to join our sales team as our Diplomatic Sales Manager.

As Diplomatic Sales Manager, your will be responsible for driving revenue and market share within the diplomatic and international organization segments. This role is critical to positioning the hotel as a preferred destination for embassies, consulates, international delegations, and multilateral organizations. The ideal candidate brings a proven track record in cultivating long-term, high-value relationships within the diplomatic community, coupled with strong strategic sales skills and a deep understanding of protocol, confidentiality, and cultural nuance.

Specific job knowledge, skill and ability:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales, ideally within the diplomatic, international government, or luxury hospitality sectors.
• Deep understanding of diplomatic protocol, global cultural norms, and the unique expectations of embassy clientele.
• Established network within the Washington, DC diplomatic community strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to build trust and rapport with high-profile clients in a discreet and professional manner.
• Proficiency in CRM systems, sales reporting, and contract negotiation.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, including presentation fluency and comfort hosting site visits or briefings.
• Self-starter with a strategic, proactive sales mindset and an unwavering attention to detail.

The Dupont Circle Hotel in Washington DC is a luxury property located right on Dupont Circle in the nation's capital. Newly renovated the hotel has 327 chicly styled and luxuriously appointed guest rooms, with 12 bespoke penthouse suites located on the 9th floor of the hotel.
