The Ashton Care Home is a private care home situated in the beautiful town of Hinckley, close to the town centre. We specialise in Residential Care, Dementia Care, Nursing Care, Respite Care, and Palliative Care for 72 residents.

What You Will Do
As a Registered Nurse, you will lead and inspire your team, delivering both clinical excellence and holistic care. You will collaborate with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to craft personalised care plans tailored to each individual’s needs. You will oversee shift handovers, monitor residents’ health through routine observations, and safely manage medication administration following strict protocols.

Your role will involve building trusting relationships, promoting resident independence, and encouraging engagement in social activities. You will champion dignity and respect, maintain a safe environment, and respond swiftly and effectively to emergencies. You will also foster clear communication within your team, ensuring the highest standard of care is consistently delivered.

What We Are Looking For

  • Registered General Nurse (RGN) or Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with an active NMC Nursing PIN
  • Passion for care and commitment to improving residents’ lives
  • Strong communication skills, able to engage with residents, families, and colleagues with empathy and clarity
  • Experience in care home settings is advantageous but not essential
  • Calm, patient demeanour with the ability to lead and mentor a team
