Role: Temporary Removals Porter

Location: Crawley

Pay: £15.50 per hour

Hours: 7am – 5pm (45 hours a week, 1-hour unpaid lunch) – overtime available!

Duration: 8 weeks but this could extend

First Recruitment Services is supporting a well-known company who are seeking a Removals Porter on a temporary basis, with an immediate start! This is an 8-week temporary positive to assist during a busy period.

Removals Porter Duties:

• Loading and unloading household and office furniture with care
• Dismantling and reassembling furniture
• Wrapping and protecting items to prevent damage in transit
• Providing excellent customer service to customers on-site
• Maintaining high standards of health and safety throughout the move
• Assisting as a drivers mate during moves across the Southeast and London

Removal Porter Experience:

• Experience in removals is desirable not but essential as full training is provided
• Physically fit and comfortable heavy lifting
