For over 20 years, the Company has delivered fresh food solutions to pupils and staff at Primary Schools, Secondary Schools and Colleges across the UK. The company caters more than 1,000,000 meals a week. We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Kitchen Porter to join our team in Harewood, United Kingdom. As a vital member of our kitchen staff, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen environment.

• Support the kitchen team in daily operations
• Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment thoroughly and efficiently
• Assist with basic food preparation tasks as directed by the chef
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen and dining areas
• Ensure proper storage of kitchen items and ingredients
• Assist with receiving and storing deliveries
• Comply with all health and safety regulations
• Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the kitchen management

• Physical stamina and ability to stand for extended periods
• Capability to lift and carry heavy objects safely
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely
• Basic knowledge of kitchen equipment and sanitation practices is advantageous
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Food hygiene awareness
• Efficient time management skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends
• Resilience and ability to work under pressure
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
