Position: Commis Chef

Salary: £13.00 - £13.50 per hour

Hours: 30-40 hours per week, flexible shifts

The Fox and Goose, a charming and welcoming pub in the heart of Brent Knoll, is seeking a passionate and dedicated Commis Chef to join our kitchen team. If you’re enthusiastic about food, eager to learn, and ready to contribute to a bustling kitchen environment, we’d love to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing and cooking high-quality dishes under the guidance of our head chef Kelley
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised kitchen environment
• Support stock control and ensure ingredients are fresh and properly stored
• Collaborate with the team to deliver exceptional dining experiences
• Follow food safety and hygiene standards

What We’re Looking For:

• A keen interest in culinary arts with some kitchen experience (preferred but not essential)
• A team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and evenings
