- Support the Executive Head Chef in menu development and implementation
- Supervise and mentor Chef de Parties, Line Chefs, and General Assistants
- Ensure consistent delivery of exceptional food quality
- Manage kitchen operations
- Oversee food preparation, portion control, and waste management
- Maintain the highest standards of food safety and kitchen hygiene
- Assist in staff scheduling, training, and performance management
- Control food costs and inventory management
- Share in product development/costing process
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef or Senior Chef de Partie in a high-end environment
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Exceptional culinary skills, experience in fine dining cuisine would be amazing but not essential
- Comprehensive knowledge of food safety regulations and HACCP principles
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Be able to liaise with the Development Chefs giving his/her expert advice for this demanding area.
- Formal culinary qualification or apprenticeship
