This role will report directly to the Chief Sustainability and Security Officer, in charge of Corporate Communications, and will lead a team of communication professionals in delivering impactful messaging across multiple channels.
Role Overview- Assist in the development and execution of comprehensive corporate communication strategies that align with the company’s overarching goals and objectives.
- Support the planning and rollout of communication initiatives tied to major corporate priorities, in line with the company’s Corporate Message House and 5-Year Strategic Plan.
- Monitor, evaluate, and report on the effectiveness of communication strategies, recommending adjustments as needed to maximize impact.
- Manage proactive media relations and respond to public and media inquiries, ensuring timely and accurate communication.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key media contacts, journalists, and industry influencers in priority corporate markets.
- Draft, edit, and distribute press releases, media kits, and other external communications to enhance corporate visibility.
- Provide critical support in crisis communications, safeguarding the company’s reputation and ensuring consistent messaging during sensitive situations.
- Contribute to the creation of high-quality, engaging content across multiple platforms, including corporate websites, social media, and traditional print.
- Ensure all content aligns with the company’s brand voice, tone, and messaging guidelines.
- Develop and maintain internal communication tools, such as spokesperson matrices and messaging frameworks, to support effective corporate storytelling.
- Support and coordinate with a global team of communication professionals to ensure alignment and best practice sharing across regions. Collaborate closely with key departments—such as Marketing, HR, and Operations—to ensure consistency and cohesion in all corporate communications.
- Provide communications support to executive leadership, including the preparation of speeches, messaging, and presentation materials.
- Master’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field;.
- At least 6 years of experience in corporate communications, public relations, or related fields.
- Proven experience in a leadership role with a strong ability to manage a team.
- Native English plus one other language.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
