We have an opportunity for a Restaurant Manager to join our talented team at The Parakeet. The Parakeet is a Public House and Dining Room situated in the heart of Kentish Town. A hub for the local community and beyond, The Parakeet is a classic boozer in the front bar, with an award-winning small plate restaurant in the dining room. Our kitchen, headed up by Chef Ben Allen has been widely regarded as one of the most important restaurant launches of 2023 and has reached critical acclaim.

What you’ll do:

Support the AGM and Senior GM in leading our exceptional Front of House team to set up and deliver a unique guest experience.
Lead the team in service, demonstrating great attention to detail and product knowledge to drive quality and consistency.
Manage our Front of House team including supporting recruitment, delivering performance reviews, and leading training sessions.
Determining staffing needs based on sales volume, special events, holidays, etc, with the ability to create a cost-efficient, fair rota on a week-by-week basis.
Delivering engaging and effective team briefs to ensure our dining room atmosphere is optimal and standards are set for an impeccable experience.

What we’re looking for:

Experienced in delivering a high-end service, ideally with small sharing plate experience.
You will display genuine empathy & responsiveness at work, and have the skills to inspire, lead and motivate a team.
You have a passion for hospitality and providing a warm and memorable guest experience.
Ability to problem-solve across a broad range of reactive issues with a positive attitude.
