The Builders Arms, nestled in the heart of Chelsea, is a beautifully restored pub with a big local following and a bold food ethos. Part of the Cubitt House group – a collection of independent, food-led pubs across London – we serve seasonal British dishes made with passion, precision, and the best produce we can find.

We’re now on the lookout for a talented and ambitious Senior Chef de Partie to join our kitchen brigade. This is a brilliant opportunity for a confident CDP ready to step up, or an experienced Senior CDP looking to grow in a respected, professional kitchen.

As Senior Chef de Partie, you’ll take the lead on your section and support the Sous and Head Chef in delivering consistent, high-quality food. You'll help train junior chefs, contribute to menu development, and ensure every dish meets the high standards we’re known for.

• Run your section smoothly and efficiently during prep and service

• Cook to a consistently high standard, with excellent attention to detail

• Train and support junior team members, acting as a role model

• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe kitchen environment

• Contribute ideas to seasonal menus and specials

• Work closely with the senior team on service, standards, and kitchen operations

• Previous experience as a strong CDP or Senior CDP in a quality kitchen

• Great communication skills and a calm, focused approach

• High standards of prep, plating, and cleanliness

• A real team player with a desire to lead and learn
