Job Overview: As a waiter/waitress at The Smokehouse, you’ll be the face of our restaurant, ensuring guests have a smooth, enjoyable dining experience. You’ll take orders, serve food and drinks, maintain the cleanliness of the restaurant, and engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner. Responsibilities:

• Greet and seat guests in a warm and friendly manner.
• Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently.
• Serve food and beverages to customers with attention to detail.
• Answer questions about the menu and make recommendations.
• Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, tables, and restroom facilities.
• Process payments and handle cash or card transactions.
• Ensure customer satisfaction and resolve any issues or complaints with a positive, solution-oriented approach.
• Work collaboratively with other staff members to create a team-oriented environment.
• Adhere to food safety and hygiene regulations.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a waitstaff or customer service role is preferred but not required.
• A positive and friendly attitude with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Flexible, reliable, and able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• An interest in food and drink, particularly in smoked meats, is a bonus.
• Must be eligible to work in the UK.
