Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation and cooking of tandoor dishes, including kebabs, naan, roti, and other clay-oven specialties.

  • Operate and maintain the tandoor oven in a safe and efficient manner.

  • Prepare marinades, sauces, and mise-en-place as per recipes and instructions.

  • Ensure proper storage and handling of food items in compliance with food safety standards.

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the tandoor section and overall kitchen.

  • Follow all health, hygiene, and safety guidelines.

  • Assist senior chefs in daily kitchen operations and food preparation tasks.

  • Minimize waste and contribute to cost control by following portion sizes and inventory practices.

  • Communicate effectively with other kitchen team members to ensure timely service.
