We are looking for a talented and driven Sous Chef to join our client's kitchen team at a well-known branded hotel in Blackpool. This permanent, full-time role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, professional kitchen, delivering high-quality food while adhering to brand standards and recipes.

About the Role:As Sous Chef, you will support the Exec Chef in managing kitchen operations and ensuring that all dishes are consistently delivered to brand specifications. You will play a crucial role in maintaining the quality and efficiency of service, training junior chefs and ensuring the kitchen runs smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring all dishes are prepared and presented according to brand standards
  • Support the Exec Chef with menu planning, food ordering, and stock management
  • Lead and inspire the kitchen team, ensuring effective training and development
  • Maintain exceptional hygiene, food safety, and cleanliness standards
  • Help manage kitchen resources efficiently, minimising waste and optimising productivity
  • Step up to lead the kitchen in the absence of the Exec Chef

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef or Senior Chef de Partie within a branded or standards-driven kitchen
  • Strong understanding of food preparation, presentation, and working to set specifications
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and ability to maintain a high standard of cleanliness
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • A passion for food, with the ability to deliver consistently excellent results
