We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced BI professional to join our dynamic team as BI Analyst (Qlik) based at Klarent’s Glasgow Head Office. This role will be instrumental in helping us transform data into insights, empowering smarter business decisions across our hotel portfolio.

The Role

Working as part of the IT Team, the Qlik Analyst will:

  • Develop, test, and deploy Qlik Sense dashboards that support operational and strategic decision-making.
  • Perform data analysis and interpretation to generate actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to gather requirements and tailor BI solutions to business needs.
  • Maintain and enhance existing Qlik Sense applications and ensure they remain relevant and high-performing.
  • Integrate data from various systems using effective ETL processes.
  • Develop and manage data models that support reliable business intelligence.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues in Qlik applications.
  • Stay informed on evolving Qlik Sense capabilities and BI best practices.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Skilled in Qlik Sense development including scripting, modelling, and dashboard visualisation.
  • Strong working knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
  • Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and ETL tools.
  • Excellent analytical skills with a passion for turning data into actionable insights.
  • Able to confidently translate complex data into clear business recommendations.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; confident in engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Relevant Qlik certifications and hospitality industry experience are desirable.
