Pizza Chef

We are currently recruiting for a Pizza Chef to work in a new Pizza restaurant opening in the Royston area.

Job specification

You will ideally have experience of working in a pizzeria and have knowledge of dough preparation, pizza assembly and cooking. The location of the restaurant is very rural so you must have use of a car.

Ideal candidate will have

• Dough preparation - Able to construct a pizza from the dough to cooking in either Neapolitan or New York styles.
• Sauce & topping preparation - Creating sauces according to the menu and adding the toppings.
• Inventory management - Keeping track of stock and ordering ingredients when needed
• Ensuring all areas are kept clean and tidy and all food hygiene protocols are adhered to at all times.
• Excellent customer service skills and able to take orders on the telephone.

• Able to work weekends and evenings when required.
