Tempting Recruitment are working alongside our client, a Local Authority, who are looking to recruit an experienced Domestic Abuse quality and performance manager to join their team based in London JOB DETAILSPAY RATE: £29,000 - £35,000 Annual Salary WORK TYPE: Permanent WORK PATTERN: Full TimeLOCATION: London JOB SUMMARYAs the Domestic Abuse Quality and Performance Manager, you will be a key member of the senior leadership team, working closely with service managers and frontline staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality, consistent, and impactful domestic abuse services. This role focuses on practice development, safeguarding, quality assurance, and performance improvementJOB DESCRIPTIONThe duties and responsibilities of the role will include:
- Conduct regular case reviews to identify and promote good practice and ensure alignment with Respect Accreditation Standards.
- Provide timely feedback to senior management on quality and performance indicators.
- Observe case managers in practice and provide reflective feedback to support their development.
- Lead on quality assurance of case recording, ensuring accuracy and compliance with gold standard timeframes.
- Design and implement performance review processes including 3-month case check systems.
- Gather and analyse service user and professional feedback to support continuous improvement.
- Represent the service at multi-agency meetings and contribute to strategic discussions and planning.
- Facilitate case consultations and support effective safeguarding and risk management across all cases.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation, adhering to GDPR and data protection standards
- Relevant qualification and registration in Social Work, Occupational Therapy, or Nursing.
- Strong experience in social care or health settings with a focus on domestic abuse.
- In-depth knowledge of key legislation: Care Act 2014, Mental Capacity Act 2005, and Human Rights Act 1998.
- Proven track record of managing complex safeguarding cases and risk assessment.
- Experience in leading, mentoring, or supervising teams or students.
- High-level understanding of multi-agency public protection work (e.g., MARAC, MAPPA).
- Excellent communication, IT, and organisational skills including proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- A proactive approach with the ability to lead on performance and quality initiatives.
- Empathy, integrity, and a commitment to promoting safer communities through behaviour change

- Experience in perpetrator intervention or victim services
- Experience working with individuals affected by substance misuse or mental health issues
