Location: Central London, 2 minutes walk from Moorgate Station 

Rate: £13.50 per hour

Part-Time, Tuesday - Thursday, fixed days 

Shift: 7.00 - 15.30 

We are seeking a self-motivated, skilled Barista to take full ownership of a busy coffee bar located in a vibrant corporate office environment. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives on delivering exceptional customer experiences and consistently high-quality coffee.

Job Description

Main Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and serve consistently excellent coffee and hot beverages with strong working knowledge of coffee machines and grinders.

  • Set up the coffee bar each day, including arranging cakes, pastries, and stocked fridges with ready-to-eat items like sandwiches and salads.

  • Accurately handle transactions and process payments.

  • Manage stock rotation, conduct temperature checks, and ensure allergen information is clearly maintained.

  • Keep the workspace clean, organised, and compliant with food safety and hygiene standards.

  • Communicate confidently and professionally with a wide range of office staff and visitors.

  • Plan ahead, manage time efficiently, and take initiative to run the coffee bar independently.



Qualifications

* Proven experience with a strong background in coffee preparation and serving.

* Knowledge of food safety standards and practices.

* Ability to perform food preparation tasks efficiently.

* Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory.

* Excellent time management skills to ensure timely service and operations.
