Location: Glasgow Sheriff Court

Rate of Pay: £16,380.00 per year

Contracted Hours: 25 per week Monday - Friday 

Required : Clean UK Drivers License as the job role will require driving responsibilities.

We are seeking a reliable and versatile Driver / Kitchen Porter to join our team in Glasgow, United Kingdom. In this dual role, you will be responsible for making deliveries and assisting with kitchen operations, contributing to the smooth functioning of our food service establishment.

• Safely transport food items, supplies, and equipment to various locations
• Assist in loading and unloading deliveries
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area
• Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment
• Support food preparation by cleaning and chopping ingredients as directed
• Ensure proper storage of food items and supplies
• Assist with basic food preparation tasks under the guidance of kitchen staff
• Maintain a clean and sanitized work environment
• Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations
• Perform regular vehicle maintenance checks and report any issues
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient operations

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 50 lbs)
• Basic knowledge of food handling and safety practices
• Proficiency in operating basic kitchen equipment
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Flexibility to work in both driving and kitchen porter roles
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Food safety certification 
• Previous experience as a driver (preferred)
• Kitchen porter or dishwashing experience (preferred)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
