Here at GoFind Recruitment, we are proud to be representing an award winning Holiday Centre in their search for a dedicated Sous Chef, based on their site in the Blackpool area.
Reporting to the Senior Chef, you will be responsible for supporting the creation of menu’s, control of the preparations process and ensuring a high level of quality.
This is not your regular position as they are looking for someone that will be an ambassador for the business promoting a welcoming & informative environment, always demonstrating the companies visions and values.

Roles & Responsibilities (But not limited to):
- Assist in day-to-day kitchen operations across the dining establishment.
- Supervise and motivate the kitchen team, ensuring service standards and the companies health & safety policies and procedures are met and exceeded.
- Deputise for the Head Chef in their absence, including staff management, stock control, and service oversight.
- Ensure all food is prepared and presented to the highest standards of quality, taste, and hygiene.
- Help design and deliver seasonal and themed menus aligned with guest demographics and holiday/event schedules.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, allergen, and health & safety regulations (HACCP).
- Monitor food cost and waste, ensuring effective stock rotation and portion control.
- Mentor junior chefs, support training and staff development.
- Liaise with front-of-house and event teams to ensure smooth service and customer satisfaction.
Experience / Qualifications:
- Food and Hygiene Level 3.
- Proven experience in a high-volume kitchen environment.
- Outstanding leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
- A guest-first mindset with a passion for service excellence.
- Ability to work on own initiatives and also as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and key seasonal dates.
