We’re proud winners of the AA Small Hotel Group of the Year 2024–25, rated as one of the Top 30 Best Places to Work in Hospitality 2024 by The Caterer, and recently crowned Best Employer at the Springboard Awards for Excellence.
Now, with the arrival of Stu Deeley—celebrated MasterChef winner and culinary visionary—as Executive Head Chef, we’re entering a new era of creativity, flavour, and opportunity.
What you’ll be doing?
This role is perfect for someone with a true passion for weddings, celebration and bespoke events. You’ll be driven by driving, converting and delivering events, demonstrating the importance of personal connections with clients.
As a Weddings & Special Events Executive, you’ll be at the heart of crafting extraordinary occasions, from intimate weddings to milestone birthdays and elegant private parties. From the initial enquiry through to the final details, you’ll guide clients through the planning process, ensuring every detail is executed flawlessly. Your expertise in weddings and social functions will allow you to develop strong relationships with couples, families, suppliers, and industry professionals, ensuring a seamless and stress-free experience for all.
You’ll have a deep understanding of wedding trends and social events and a meticulous approach to detail, enabling you to curate personalised experiences to create memories that last a lifetime. Working as part of our hotel sales team, you’ll contribute to sales initiatives, targets, and overall business growth while maintaining first-class service standards.
What you’ll need?
- Experience within a weddings and special events role in a luxury hotel or venue.
- A passion for creating extraordinary experiences, with a personable and empathetic approach to building guest relationships.
- Strong knowledge of wedding planning, social events, trends and local suppliers, ensuring our events are always special.
- Be a master organiser, with the ability to juggle (metaphorically speaking!) plenty of balls whilst maintaining great attention to detail.
- Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and evenings, to accommodate wedding and events appointments.
- Strong IT and administrative skills are essential; experience of HART pms would be beneficial
