Location: FavershamContract: Part-time - 28 hours per weekHourly Rate: £13.00 - £13.50Shifts: 3 shifts one week, 4 the next (alternate weekends)Hours: 7:00am - 3:30pm

• Prepare home-cooked, balanced meals to meet a variety of dietary needs

• Cater for special diets such as diabetic, low salt, and soft foods

• Order and manage kitchen stock within budget

• Maintain food hygiene and kitchen safety standards at all times

• Keep accurate records of cleaning, food temperatures, and stock levels

• Liaise with care teams to understand residents' nutritional needs and preferences

• A relevant cooking qualification

• Food Hygiene Certificate (Level 2 or above)

• Previous care home or healthcare catering experience is helpful but not essential

• Confidence in preparing meals for older people and those with specific dietary requirements

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
