An enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant/ commis chef is required near Braintree for this local restaurant, with a kitchen headed by a talented and enthusiastic Head Chef. They require a Kitchen Assistant/commis chef who is passionate, dedicated and hard-working. This restaurant creates a variety of traditional and modern dishes and has an a la carte menu, as well as offering chalkboard specials. They pride themselves on the high quality food that they produce, which as Kitchen Assistant/ commis chef, you will be instrumental in supporting the chefs to create. The restaurant is closed on Monday’s and Tuesday, so expect a consistent, structured rota.

They are looking for a motivated chef to join their busy brigade, someone who is versatile in all areas of the kitchen, including washing dishes. This position is a full time role, and you will be expected to work as part of the team, wherever needed. The shifts will be a mix of splits and straights and will include weekend work.
