Join Our Compassionate Residential Dementia Care Home as a Cook!We are currently recruiting an experienced Care Home Cook to work in our warm and friendly residential care home in Lutterworth, specialising in dementia care for older adults. If you're passionate about food and have experience working in a care home kitchen, we'd love to hear from you!

• Prepare and cook nutritious, home-cooked meals for elderly residents

• Plan meals that meet dietary and nutritional requirements, including soft diets and specialist dementia diets

• Follow food safety, hygiene, and allergen protocols

• Maintain a clean, safe kitchen environment in line with CQC and Environmental Health standards

• Work as part of a small, supportive team in a calm, caring environment

Week 1:

• Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday: 2pm - 7pm

• Friday: 6am - 2pm/3pm

Week 2:

• Monday, Tuesday: 2pm - 7pm

• Wednesday: 6am - 2pm/3pm

• Friday, Saturday, Sunday: 6am - 3pm

Some flexibility or additional hours may be offered to the right candidate.

• Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate (required)

• Previous experience working as a Cook, Chef, Kitchen Assistant, or Catering Staff in a care home, residential home, or nursing home

• Understanding of elderly nutrition, dementia care needs, and allergen awareness
