About the Role: As a Hospitality Assistant, you will collaborate closely with the Hospitality Supervisor and Hospitality Manager to oversee all aspects of hospitality and events from start to finish. Your role will be pivotal in delivering outstanding guest experiences, ensuring smooth operations, and maintaining high standards in hospitality and events.

Job Description

Holroyd Howe is seeking a passionate and dedicated Hospitality Assistant to join our dynamic hospitality and events team, ensuring the delivery of exceptional food and beverage operations.

Job Type: Full Time - 8 Hours
Hourly Rate: £12.60 per hour (starting rate)

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, organise and deliver successful operations for all meetings and events.
  • Liaise with the kitchen and school events team to ensure food and service provision aligns with Holroyd Howe standards.
  • Adhere to all legislative and government guidelines, including The Food Safety Act, Health and Safety at Work Act, and COSHH regulations.
  • Ensure compliance with in-house accounting policies and monitor food and beverage control, including performing stock takes and ordering.


Qualifications

  • Excellent food & beverage knowledge - desirable but not essential
  • Experience in meetings, events and hospitality - desirable but not essential
  • Lead by example, always acting in a professional manner
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Takes the initiative and hands-on
  • Supportive / Team player
  • Strong presentation skills
