We are looking for Finance Administrator to join our established team, at a leading global provider of financial markets data in Central London. Job Description
We are seeking a highly organised and efficient Finance Administrator to join our team in Central London. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting financial operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with BaxterStorey and UK regulations.
- Maintain accurate financial records and perform daily bookkeeping tasks
- Prepare and analyse financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve any discrepancies
- Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Collaborate with external auditors during financial audits
- Ensure compliance with UK financial regulations and internal policies
- Implement and maintain financial controls and procedures
- Assist with payroll processing and related tasks
- Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections
Qualifications
Experience of operating in a multi-site retail/food services business
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present financial data
- Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Solid understanding of bookkeeping principles and financial reporting
- Experience in budgeting and forecasting
- Professional certifications such as AAT or ACCA are desirable
- Exceptional organisational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
