This intimate speakeasy-style venue hosts weekly residencies from top-tier musicians, with a programme that spans jazz, boogie-woogie, cabaret (think Crazy Coqs), and even West End stars performing musical theatre favourites.

Our hosts are the face of the venue, they set the tone of Isaacs by welcoming and fulfilling the needs of our guests. Primarily responsible for managing the bookings, the host is an essential team member for a smooth service.
What you will do
• Promote an always welcome and professional image to the guest, and give full co-operation to any guest requiring assistance, forging great relationships
• Welcome and acknowledge each and every guest with a smile, eye contact, and a friendly verbal greeting, using the guest's name when possible, establishing if they have a pre-existing booking or if one needs to be made
• Seating the guests at the table, ensuring that any questions the guest may have (about service, menus, bathrooms etc) have been answered
• Managing all bookings from enquiry stage, this could be via email, telephone or face to face
• Confirming all bookings and checking in advance of any dietary needs or special requests
• Optimising the booking system to ensure the maximum covers are reached, without impeding guest experience/table times
Ideal candidate
• Warm and genuine nature, someone who can make people feel at ease
• To be able to confidently, clearly and politely pass information to all guests
• Promote a positive attitude and display the ability to ‘make things happen’ to achieve or exceed anticipated results
• Strong organisational skills
• Excellent telephone and email etiquette
• Previous experience is not essential, but must be willing to learn
• Due to the nature of the work, the ideal candidate would be fully flexible in their approach to work and be able to work shift patterns through weekdays and weekends
