Searcys are looking for an Cafe Team Leader to join the team at The King's Fund.
As a Team Leader for Deloitte you will be responsible for the overall co-ordination of a day at the cafe. Supporting the Managers and co-ordinating the team.

Job Description
The Team Leader will be working as part of an exciting team to deliver the food & beverage and operations.
Job Type: Full Time
Hourly Rate: £14.45ph
JOB SUMMARY
The purpose of this role is to provide effective leadership of the team and to deliver excellent customer service and high-quality products that will measure up to the standards required by our clients.
Responsibilities will include (but not be limited to) the following:
General
- Support Benugo vision around People, Product, Customers, Environment and Profitability
- Continuously work towards improving sales and service, ensuring the customer experience is maintained at all times to the highest standard from front and back of house
- Lead and motivate the team through ongoing evaluations, listening and training
- Assist the Manager in the day-to-day running of the shop and act as deputy in their absence
- Organize the team on each shift and allocate duties as necessary
- Liaise with FOH and BOH team as necessary to ensure product excellence and availability, correct ordering, and stock control
- Ensure high levels of food and health and safety are maintained at all times
- Always work within Benugo policies and procedures
Financial
- Assist with staff allocation in order to optimize the costed rota
- Ensure availability of product to required level
- Ensure all the measuring tools to control stock, availability and wastage are used
- Understand variable costs, sales drivers and shop P&L
- Assist the site manager with closing the week procedures
Customer Service
- Ensure an excellent level of service is provided to all customers and clients.
- Deal with any complaints or issues from the public or clients
- Monit your customer comments and constantly look at improvements that may need to be made
- Investigate any complaints and/or comments and ensure that corrective and/or remedial action is taken where relevant
- Have a presence on site throughout the day especially at peak times to identify or solve issues
- Ensure speedy and efficient service with a friendly attitude
Health & Safety (inc Food Safety) / Security
- Ensure all health & safety procedures are completed and report any potential hazards immediately to the relevant department as well as taking any necessary action
- Comply with all food safety and health and safety regulations including company policies
- Enforce sanitary practices for general cleanliness
- Identify any security issues and take appropriate action to implement solutions where necessary
Communication
- Liaise with your colleagues and peers in a professional manner at all times
- Report back to senior managers to ensure compliance in line with company procedures
- Maintain up-to-date and detailed knowledge of the company’s products, services and procedures
- Take responsibility for coordinating all communications relevant to your role
- Contribute to strategic projects or group initiatives as and when required
Other:
- Maintain high standards of punctuality, attendance and personal presentation
- Attend any training and or meetings as required by the company
- Represent the company and yourself in a professional manner
- Take responsibility for your own personal development at work and strive to be the best in what you do, taking pride in your work

Minimum 3 years experience as Team Leader/ Manager
