An exciting opportunity to work within a fast-paced and growing organisation to maintain and develop the high standard of support the business provides for end users.
As Corporate Support Specialist, you will be responsible for day-to-day IT support for the BKUK HQ staff base (Whopper Support). You will work with our end user support provider to ensure timely resolution of all support requests and build upon support process, looking for improvements where they can be found. You will be responsible for new user setup and integration alongside making sure IT services within Whopper Support are functioning and fit for purpose.
You will liaise with internal teams and with sites to arrange testing and implementation of new processes and initiatives to improve productivity and efficiency.
You will also maintain IT best practices throughout and be tasked with keeping BKUK design documentation up to date and enforced across the estate.
What you'll do:
- Maintain and support the physical and functional IT services within Whopper Support
- Manage new starter process from IT setup to IT induction
- Manage leaver process
- Review and develop IT processes to gain efficiency and maximise productivity through automation where possible
- Maintain and develop cyber security best practices including user awareness and education
- Assist in third party supplier escalations
- Assist in site openings and site remodels programme
- Microsoft or related field qualifications / certifications or relevant demonstrable experience
- End user support experience
- IT equipment installation experience
- Basic level of networking components
- A strong technical background in IT troubleshooting
- Good stakeholder management skills
- An ability to prioritise a demanding workload
- Excellent written, verbal and presentation communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external teams
- The ability to make crucial decisions and cope with the pressure of demanding targets
- The ability to solve problems and make decisions, as well as to think strategically and laterally
- Time management skills and the ability to deliver to deadlines
