our Role
At Sonderwell, we understand that every individual is unique. That’s why the care we offer varies from person to person. Whether it’s accompanying clients to medical appointments, helping them start their day, or assisting with daily activities, your role is all about meeting the unique needs of each individual. You’ll build a connection with your client, providing care tailored to them.

The role will involve providing physical support as well as personal care, including: Here's a breakdown of the experience required 

• Tracheostomy care

• Ventilation care

• Oral suctioning

• Tracheal suctioning

If you have patience, flexibility, and experience in these areas, we’re ready to support you in providing the care our clients deserve.

 

Supporting You
Being a Sonderwell carer goes beyond physical support – it’s about building trust with both clients and their families. If you bring a caring personality and relevant experience, we’ll offer comprehensive training, including online modules and classroom sessions focused on specific complex care needs. You’ll also have the opportunity to study for a relevant NVQ.

You may work independently or as part of a team, depending on your client’s needs. If you’re interested, we can even offer the opportunity to support more than one client.

Before you begin, you’ll meet your client and their family, ensuring you understand their unique requirements. And throughout your role, you’ll receive ongoing support from a Care Co-ordinator or Nurse Manager.
