This is a great opportunity for an experienced Hotel Reservations Co-ordinator to join Sarova's Central Reservations team based at The Rembrandt Hotel in South Kensington.

What will I be doing as a Central Reservation Co-ordinator
  • Answering telephone enquiries for our 4 hotels , taking bookings and effectively selling the available bedroom stock to maximise revenue, ensuring each guest/ caller is dealt with efficiently and courteously.
  • Ensuring that all bookings are processed in Opera and confirmed with the client according to company standards.
  • Dealing with incoming rooms reservations correspondence from various sources in an efficient and timely manner.
  • Updating and amending reservations, dealing with advance deposits, vouchers and credit requests, following up on declined transactions and non guaranteed bookings and preparing back up documentation and checklists for Reception.
  • Maintaining guest history/ profile records.
  • Carrying out other administrative functions pertaining to the reservations, and meetings and events department as and when required.


As Central Reservations Co-ordinator you will have:

  • Previous experience working in a Hotel Reservations department, ideally in a central office
  • Good knowledge of Opera, our hotel property management system, ideally with hotel Front Office experience
  • A clear telephone voice with good command of both spoken and written English
  • A positive attitude and the ability to work under pressure, with both good re-active and pro-active sales skills and excellent administrative skills with a good eye for detail.
  • Flexiibility as working hours are staggered between 8am and 6pm
