Head of IT EMEA

We have an exciting opportunity for a Head of IT to join us and take responsibility for the IT and digital solutions and services for Frasers Hospitality across the EMEA region. As the Head of IT, you will provide technology leadership, vision and actively participate in the delivery of IT services, solutions and innovations for the business. You will work closely with the management team to ensure the efficient and secure operation of the technology platforms, and delivering digital solutions that enable a frictionless customer journey. 

Based at our UK Head office in London, the role will require frequent travel to the properties across the UK & EMEA.

What you'll be doing as Head of IT EMEA:

• Lead and participate in the planning, execution, and management of the IT strategy for Frasers Hospitality Regional Cluster (EMEA - Europe, Middle East, Africa).
• Drive innovation initiatives at Corporate, Cluster, and Property levels.
• Oversee Cluster Hotel Pre-openings and Conversions from an IT and systems perspective.
• Establish and maintain good business relationships with stakeholders to influence and achieve business goals.
• Manage vendors to ensure smooth negotiations and timely, on-budget, high-quality delivery.
  
• Collaborate with technical/business teams to ensure requirements are feasible and adhere to Frasers Hospitality Brand Standards.
• Monitor and report on all IT related projects within the cluster.
• Ensure compliance with IT Policies, Standards, and Guidelines, and manage Cluster-specific requirements.
• Maintain and update brand technology standards for the Regional Cluster.
• Ensure compliance with mandates including PCI-DSS and Data Privacy Laws.
  

• Proven experience in a lead IT role within the Hospitality Industry - Hotels or Serviced Apartments would be preferred. 
• Experience with Hotel Pre-Openings in multiple countries would be advantageous.
• Extensive experience in managing complex IT projects.
• Ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with team members, property users, and vendors.
• Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and assume ownership to ensure the success of assigned tasks.
• Work independently and in a team environment, multitask, and meet deadlines in a time-sensitive environment.
• Strong vendor management skills and owner/stakeholder relationship management.
• Knowledge of HMS / Opera PMS systems and Hospitality Technology platforms.
• Understanding and experience with Cloud Technologies (e.g., Office 365, Microsoft Azure, AWS).
• Understanding and experience with server, network, and virtualization technologies (e.g., VMWare, Windows Server, VLANs, WIFI).
• Familiarity with PCI Compliance and Security Awareness Programs.
• Knowledge of IT Policies, Standards, and SOPs.
• Flexibility to travel within the Regional Cluster.
