About the Role
As a Chef de Partie, you will be an integral part of our kitchen team, supporting the preparation and service of high-quality meals for students and staff. You will assist with food preparation, maintain high food hygiene standards, and ensure smooth kitchen operations.

Job Description
We are seeking a talented and dedicated Chef de Partie to join our culinary team in Lower Dicker, United Kingdom. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled chef to contribute their expertise to our kitchen for 46 weeks per year.
- Prepare, cook, and present high-quality dishes within your speciality section
- Ensure all food is cooked to the required standard and presented in a timely manner
- Maintain a clean and organised work station, adhering to food safety and hygiene regulations
- Assist in menu planning and development of new dishes
- Supervise and train junior kitchen staff within your section
- Manage stock levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed
- Collaborate with other chefs to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Contribute to the overall efficiency and success of the kitchen team
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar role
- Culinary degree or diploma from a recognised institution
- Current Food Safety Certification
- Excellent knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and culinary trends
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in operating various kitchen equipment and tools
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and lead junior staff
- Creativity and passion for creating exceptional culinary experiences
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items when required
- Specialisation in a particular area of cuisine (e.g., sauces, pastry, fish) is desirable
- Commitment to working 46 weeks per year in Lower Dicker, United Kingdom
