Situated on the east bank of the Thames, the four-star New Providence Wharf hotel is a modern luxury retreat near the world-famous O2 Arena, and just 20 minutes from the ExCel Centre and London City Airport.
We are currently recruiting for a Receptionist (full time) to join our Truly Talented team at Radisson BLU Hotel, London Canary Wharf East
Reporting directly to the Front Office Manager, this is an exciting role for a talented individual who is looking for a new challenge and wants to join a fast-paced, busy and hardworking team environment.

As a Receptionist, you will provide courteous and efficient service to all guests and maintain the levels of service to the highest standards at all times.
You will be responsible for greeting guests in a warm, friendly manner and be a true ambassador for excellent service, dealing with all requests and queries in an efficient and professional manner, whether face-to-face or over the telephone.
You’ll work in a busy and hardworking team environment, where you’ll continually learn and develop.
Responsibilities of a Receptionist will include but are not limited to:
- Be totally guest focused by consistently delivering excellent customer service with an informed, friendly and effective approach;
- Complete check-in and check-out procedures accurately using Opera Cloud
- Handle telephone, emails and face-to-face enquiries confidently and professionally
- Assist with reservations, special requests, and room allocations
- Follow all cash handling and billing procedures precisely
- Comply with company uniform and grooming standards
- Handle guest concerns calmly and professionally, resolving or escalating as needed
- Follow the instructions of Team Leaders, the Reception Manager, and the Front Office Manager
- Work closely with housekeeping, maintenance, F&B, C&B, and M&E teams to ensure smooth and efficient guest experiences
- To gain experience in all sections of the front desk department and ensure company and legal requirements are maintained;
- Greet all guests with a warm and friendly approach, ensuring a great first impression
- Uphold all safety, privacy, and GDPR standards
- Promote the company values and behaviours at all times.
The ideal person for this role will be:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a receptionist or front desk role, in hospitality.
- A confident communicator with a guest-first mindset
- Someone who thrives in a busy, team-oriented environment
- Strong attention to detail and time management
- A problem-solver who takes initiative
- Flexible with working hours, including weekends and holidays
- Solid background in Opera Cloud is essential
You must have the right to work in the UK to be eligible for this role. Documented evidence of eligibility will be required from all candidates prior to commencing employment.
