Power BI Developer, London

As a Power BI Developer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining dashboards using multiple data sources to drive business insights and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Create new and enhance existing Power BI reports and dashboards to support evolving business needs.
• Integrate data from multiple sources to provide comprehensive, insightful reporting.
• Support the creation and maintenance of datamarts and lakehouses to ensure the finance team and other stakeholders have access to accurate, timely data.
• Collaborate with finance stakeholders, data engineers, and analysts to understand reporting needs and deliver effective data solutions.
• Optimise report performance for fast, efficient data retrieval.
• Champion best practices within the Power BI Community of Practice.
• Maintain thorough documentation of data sources, models, and report development processes.

About You

We’re looking for a talented individual who is passionate about data and business intelligence. You’ll need:

Essential Skills & Experience:

• Proficient in Power BI report and dataset development
• Strong knowledge of DAX and Power Query
• Solid understanding of data modelling techniques and best practices in data visualisation
• Experience working in Agile teams
• A proactive, can-do attitude with a passion for solving business problems
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work across teams

Desirable Skills & Experience:

• Experience working in a large retail organisation
• Skilled in handling multiple data sources
• Working knowledge of SQL and related database technologies
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams
