We are now recruiting YOU to join our Cornwall-born seafood specialist, Chef Tom Brown who has recently re-joined The Capital Hotel after branching out his own Michelin star restaurant 'Cornerstone'. This amazing opportunity will be based at The Capital Hotel in the heart of Knightsbridge in London.

Summary
We are looking for a professional and friendly Door Person to join our team! The doorperson is the first and last person a guest sees, whilst at the hotel, he/she should set the standards expected for the hotel.
Main Duties
- To assist with arrivals/departures of guests and their luggage
- Opening the front door for guests
- Greeting guests courteously
- Providing street directions for the guests
- Procuring taxis
- Valet parking to our parking garage
- Sweeping the pavement at the front of the hotel/keeping the front door glass clean
- Acting as a frontline public relation to the hotel
- Follow the rules of health and safety standards in the work area
- Monitor entry /exit points for security and safety
- Other reasonable duties may arise
What we're looking for:
- Excellent customer service skills and communication
- Fluent in English
- Professional appearance and demeanour
- Ability to stand for a long period
- Experience in hospitality, security, or a similar role is a plus
Experience
- Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality environment is highly desirable.
- Bilingual or multilingual skills are an advantage, enabling effective communication with a diverse range of guests.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on guest services, ensuring every interaction is positive.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure while managing multiple tasks effectively.
- A passion for hospitality and providing exceptional service to all guests.
