The Big Table Group currently has an opening for an expereinced Paralegal based in our support office in Central London, just a five-minute walk from Oxford Circus.

This is a broad and interesting legal and compliance role in a dynamic and fun environment; providing scope for the right candidate to develop their knowledge and skills across a range of legal areas, collaborating with the General Counsel. Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintaining the Company’s contract data hub and indexing and tagging of key contracts and terms. Managing e-signing processes. Supporting and developing contract management, including approval and diligence processes, and flagging key actionable dates within contracts to key stakeholders.
- Reviewing contracts and legal documentation, such as NDAs, basic supply and partnership agreements and standard terms and conditions, updating and maintaining templates, with guidance and support of the General Counsel.
- Assist in managing the intellectual property portfolio, in both protecting and avoiding infringement.
- Actively contribute and take minutes within the ESG committee.
- Research and advise on legislative changes that could affect the business.
- Take a lead role in the Company's Data Protection programme.
To be successful in this role you must have:
- Data protection or legal qualification. Strong academics
- Several years’ experience in a similar role within a commercial enterprise, supporting on a range of administrative tasks and developing knowledge and understanding of legal and data protection matters.
- A desire to commit to the role for a minimum 2-year period
- Very flexible approach, with ability to manage several different tasks at once.
- Excellent interpersonal skills; outgoing personality and desire to get to know colleagues across the business.
- The ability to work independently when required.
- Good knowledge of GDPR and data privacy.
