Here at The Mole Resort, we have lunched a brand-new resort set in 120 acres of beautiful Devon countryside, jam-packed with delicious food and drink and a whole lot of exciting activities.
As a Leisure Supervisor you are required to support the team in delivering a professional, friendly service to our guests demonstrating a good understanding of the products and services available.
What will I be doing?
As a Leisure Supervisor at The Mole you will assist visitors to the Spa with direction and understanding of the facilities. You will also be responsible for keeping the area in a clean and tidy condition for client’s comfort, as well as work to achieve departmental targets. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
· Supporting the Leisure Manager in achieving the department’s goals
· Handling membership inquiries
· Payment handling and financial control
· Lead fitness classes
· Ensure cleanliness standards are maintained throughout the leisure operation..
· Ensuring facilities are maintained to the highest standard
· Reporting any faults or maintenance issues to the correct department
· Following operating procedures for opening and closing the facility
· Communicating to guests in a professional friendly manner
· Complying with current health and safety legislation
· Liaising with other departments promoting teamwork
What are we looking for?
To successfully fill this role as a Leisure Supervisor at The Mole, you should maintain the attitude, behaviours, skills, and values that follow:
· Positive attitude and willingness to learn
· Good leadership skills in supporting and engaging the leisure team
· Any additional class qualifications such as spin, aquafit, exercise to music, pilates, yoga, pool plant operator, first aid would be preferable
· Good communication skills
· Commitment to delivering high levels of customer service
· A neat and tidy appearance and adherence to uniform requirements
· Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations
· Ability to work on your own or in a team
· Previous experience in a hospitality or leisure environment is advantageous
