Payroll & HR Assistant

Salary: £30,000 per annum
Location: London (Hybrid working)

• Ensuring timely and accurate payroll processing, including salaries, overtime, deductions, and bonuses.

• Handling payroll-related queries and ensuring compliance with tax, National Insurance, and pension contributions.

• Assisting with Real Time Information (RTI) submissions to HMRC and end-of-year payroll reconciliations (P60 issuance).

• Maintaining HR databases and employee records in compliance with GDPR and company policies.

• Supporting employee relations processes, including note-taking for investigations and disciplinaries.

• Coordinating training records and assisting with benefits management.

• Managing absence requests, parental leave applications, and employee reference checks.

• Generating reports and ensuring smooth communication between HR, payroll, and other departments.

• Previous experience in payroll administration.

• Knowledge of UK employment law and payroll regulations.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

• Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.

• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
