Payroll & HR Assistant
Salary: £30,000 per annum
Location: London (Hybrid working)

What you’ll be doing:Ensuring timely and accurate payroll processing, including salaries, overtime, deductions, and bonuses.
Handling payroll-related queries and ensuring compliance with tax, National Insurance, and pension contributions.
Assisting with Real Time Information (RTI) submissions to HMRC and end-of-year payroll reconciliations (P60 issuance).
Maintaining HR databases and employee records in compliance with GDPR and company policies.
Supporting employee relations processes, including note-taking for investigations and disciplinaries.
Coordinating training records and assisting with benefits management.
Managing absence requests, parental leave applications, and employee reference checks.
Generating reports and ensuring smooth communication between HR, payroll, and other departments.
Previous experience in payroll administration.
Knowledge of UK employment law and payroll regulations.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
